The first three trips of our 2018-2019 enrichment programme started off this year’s Wider World journey with a bang!
For the first time, this year we are running two enrichment programmes with children from two different schools simultaneously, encouraging more children then ever before to push themselves. Group 1 included 12 children from Bridge Learning Campus (primary and secondary), and group 2 was made up of 12 children from Cathedral primary school and Headley primary school.
These first three action packed days saw the children learning new exciting circus skills followed by learning how chocolate is made at M-shed. We then spent the second day exploring We The Curious before enjoying a show in the planetarium and an afternoon on the ice. On the third day we discovered what the exhibitions at Bristol Museum had to show, before reaching new heights at Redpoint Climbing. These three days gave both groups plenty of time to explore their curiosities, express their zest, and demonstrate their resilience.
We’re really looking forward to our next lot of activity days in the February half term!
