The final two trips of our 2017-2018 enrichment programme brought this year’s group’s Wider World journey to a triumphant end.
Travelling from Bristol to Bath by train, the children delved into Roman life: exploring the Roman Baths, dressing up as Roman characters, designing mosaics and absorbing the tales told in the museum. This visit saw the group’s curiosity, zest and self-led learning skills shine.
For our final trip we visited Wild Place where the children’s leadership and teamwork skills were put to the test in a Forest School activity building water-proof dens in an orchard. Wild Place’s Leap of Faith activity saw the children climb high up into the air, leap off a platform and brave a giant swing. Well done to everyone who showed brilliant confidence and resilience in this final challenge!
